After enjoying a wonderful night at the theatre in London, we headed to The Savoy for a drink. We arrived rather late at the American Bar and without a reservation. Peter, the host, welcomed us with remarkable warmth and offered us an excellent table. Although the kitchen had already closed, the lovely young woman who served us proved to be a true hostess. She seemed to “read” our appetite and, with a selection of small snacks accompanying our cocktails, she managed to satisfy us perfectly. Her attentive and gracious service made us feel genuinely cared for. The excellent hospitality, combined with the beautiful melodies from the piano, rounded off a truly delightful evening. Highly recommended.

Truly Excellent – Best Place for Special Events The Savoy is really and truly excellent—one of the best places for hosting or attending special events. From the moment I arrived, everything felt luxurious, organised, and perfectly managed. The atmosphere is elegant, the décor is stunning, and every detail reflects class and professionalism. I had a wonderful experience, especially with the events team. The events manager was very nice, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the whole occasion smooth and memorable. You can clearly see the high standards maintained at every level. The service, ambience, and overall experience were outstanding. Whether it’s a celebration, corporate event, or special gathering, The Savoy is the perfect choice. Highly recommended—excellent in every way.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve had anywhere in the world. The service is exceptional, warm, natural and consistently at the highest level. The location is unbeatable and the river views from the suite are something special. Housekeeping was immaculate and every interaction with the team felt effortless and genuinely welcoming. A beautiful mix of heritage, atmosphere and world class hospitality. An unforgettable stay.

I’ve stayed at many popular and pricey hotels in London, but The Savoy is hands down, my favorite. It’s actually my favorite hotel period and I’ve stayed in so many gorgeous hotels around the world. The Savoy gets everything right! The first time I went to London my husband booked us a beautiful suite at The Savoy overlooking the London Eye. I would fall asleep every night cuddled up in the most amazing bed watching the London Eye out my bedroom window. They serve High Tea, which is decadent but I do recommend reservations. I’ve stayed at The Savoy so many times that it feels like home when I’m in London. The staff are all impeccable, friendly and so kind. If you want the best experience in London, stay at The Savoy, treat yourself to High Tea, shop at Harrods and find a great show at The Queen’s Theatre. Duck tacos in China Town is a must too. (Pick any old place) The Savoy is absolutely dreamy. And, most British!

We have recently enjoyed an overnight stay at The Savoy to celebrate a milestone birthday for my husband. Whilst it might be expected that a hotel of its calibre would demonstrate exemplary service in all areas, it does not always mean that it is demonstrated. We would, however, like to congratulate the hotel on exceeding our expectations in all areas. We were warmly greeted by Ayesha on our arrival, who so kindly upgraded us as complimentary to a junior suite and is an asset as front of house. Everyone we encountered at the hotel were similar, achieving the perfect balance of warmth with professionalism. We enjoyed a light lunch in The River restaurant - delightful, and dinner in The Grill that evening. The hotel felt the right amount of busy, with enough hustle and bustle to bring atmosphere but still a focus on swift service. Breakfast next morning was equally delightful and plentiful, with similar personal service and wonderful friendliness displayed by Roseline. And even checkout service with Anna was a pleasure - yet another team member who is engaging and warm. A special mention to the housekeeping team - every area of the hotel reflected their flawless high standards. Along the way of our stay, my husband was made to feel so special with discreet and delicate touches marking his birthday, both in the restaurant and our suite. Yes, a stay at The Savoy is obviously a treat for most of us, but it has persuaded us that we would like to make it an annual event if possible. There is something unique about its entire infrastructure that really does leave you feeling you’ve experienced something very special. Thank you to the entire Savoy Team. He was also incredibly kind and attentive with our children, which meant a lot to us as a family. This level of personalised service is rare and truly elevates the experience. The Savoy remains an iconic and timeless hotel. Highly recommended for everything. We cannot wait to return.

Our stay was great. The property is historic and the rooms are comfortable and roomy. The heated floors in the bathrooms is the cherry on top. But what makes your stay great are the people. The staff makes you feel like one of the family. Makes you feel special when away from home. The American bar staff was fantastic specially James and Vineta.
